She was minister of environment, protection of the nature and safety of the reactor. In the year 2000 she was nominated as candidate for the party- chairwomen. And today she is the chancellor of Germany.
We don’t like Angela Merkel, because we think that she can’t do her job. Yes, one good aspect must be named, because we must change always, it’s good to change, to have new experiences and a new chancellor. Angela Merkel had a good life, with a examination and a study, we hope that she is good to do the chancellor, because we in Germany will live a good life.
We hope that the four years she is and stay fair and constant in her job and in her private life. Otherwise the next time we vote another person for the chancellor.

C - Christmas in Germany
I want to tell you something about Christmas in Germany.
The Advents time start on the fourth Sunday before Christmas. This year it was on 27th November. On every Advent Sunday you light an additional candle. Most families have an advent wreath. Mostly it is a round green wreath with many little things, for example: little red apples, little golden cones, little figures, angle hair, little straw stars, nuts and four big candles. The candles are mostly red. On some advent wreaths there are blue, orange, golden or other coloured candles. From the beginning of December to the 24th December, the Christmas Eve, most children have a calendar; they can open a door every day. There are different calendars, one is with chocolate, there you have every day a chocolate-thing behind the door, then a picture calendar, there is a picture behind the door every day. And there is a present calendar; there you can open one present, which your parents have made every day. At the 6th December St. Nicolas is coming. On St. Nicolas day the little children put her shoes in front of the door. In the night from the 5th to the 6th December St. Nicolas is coming and put you something into your shoe. Mostly the parents tell the kids that they must clean the shoes, when they don't make this they got nothing. Some kids lay a carrot or an apple in front of the door, next to the shoes for the reindeer, which pulls the sledge. On the next day you have many sweets in your shoe. In Christmas time are many people in the city, they buy the presents for family, friends and relatives…
In the city are many lights. The shops have lights around the door and the windows. In the market place stands a big Christmas tree with very, very fantastic lights. In the shops hang Christmas decorations, for example: golden angels, green pine and red bow ties. In front of the houses are Christmas decorations, too. There often are colourful lights, reindeers, pine trees with lights and St. Claus as toy who climbed the chimney. At the door hung an advents wreath, it doesn't have candles.
In December it gives much Christmas markets. On them you can buy much Christmas things. A Christmas market is in almost every village. In my village, Frielingen, is the Christmas market every year in the elementary school. There is in every classroom another stall. For example in one class you can tinker things which have to do with Christmas, in a other class you can buy advents wreaths, in the next class you can buy little or big Nicolas figures and… on the school playground are many stalls, as you can buy hot-dogs, mulled wine, waffles and coca-cola. For the children St. Nicolas goes there and has in a big sack with many sweets. In the neighbour village, Horst, the Christmas market is in front of the church. Here are all this too, which is in Frielingen in the school and in the Community house there is Christmas books.
The Christmas tree is a pine tree. My family and I buy our pine on a court, where the trees are cut down one or two days they were sold before. Other families cut the tree themselves.
We get the Christmas tree a short time before Christmas. We put the tree at Christmas in the morning into our house and my sister and I decorate it. In many families sad the parents, that St. Claus decorates the tree. Some people go on Christmas Eve in the church. We don't do it, because we haven't so much time. But two years ago, I was at Christmas Eve in the church, there I played Josef and the star in the service for little kids …, I must held the figures of a puppet theatre.
At Christmas Eve we got our presents after the dinner. We eat every year shish kebab. When we are ready with the dinner, my sister and I have to go into our rooms and wait there until our parents call us. Then we can get into the room where the Christmas tree stands and can unpack our presents.

G - Gender Roles
In Germany women have got another role then men. We want that women and men have got the same role. What we want to say is that we want that women have equal rights. In Germany a woman can live her own life because it isn’t like life in strict Islamic areas. She is independent of her husband or of her boyfriend. She can make her own decisions.
In German politics we have got women too but they haven’t the same role like the men. Until now we haven’t got a woman as a Chancellor but now since the 22. November 2005 our Chancellor is Angela Merkel who is a woman. We think it’s very good for the emancipation because now women have got a new model and they can see that they can manage or reach all they want. And in our opinion it is very important because it is a step to the global equal rights. And that’s very good in our opinion. You can see that a woman can be successful in politic all over the world. They are successful too in jobs. Today we have a lot of women who do the same jobs men do. So there we can see that women have a chance to impose their will on different things where men had the power in the past. But we have men who thinks like men in the past ´´ Women have to cook and to do the household and men have to work and to earn the money!´´ But we think that women have got many chances today. We are proud of the women who began to push trough in jobs and other things. We think that it was very difficult and so in our opinion we all can see that a woman has a very good capability to impose their will. We will carry on this good ´´project´´. Maybe we will see how good women are in the future.

N - Nuclear Power
Nuclear power plants provide about 17 percent of the world’s electricity. Some countries depend more on nuclear power than others. In France for example about 75 percent of the electricity is generated from nuclear power, in USA only 15 percent. There are more than 400 nuclear power plants all over world and more than 100 in the United States. In my opinion nuclear power is not really necessary and dangerous, when I think about all these things can happen to the people, if there is an accident in a nuclear power station and all the radioactive radiation comes out. All of us would get bad diseases and would die soon. I think such station should be closed because people can use natural elements like water, wind and solar energy to produce electricity. Look back in past on 26th April 1986, when the nuclear station in Chernobyl exploded. From this time on many thousands of people died because of the high radiation and also today are many people who are very sick because of this bad accident. My opinion is that the politicians should think about this topic because it’s a social problem.
Ilja K. (Garbsen, Germany)
In this text we will tell you something about nuclear power. We are against nuclear power because its dangerous for the environment. If a reactor explodes it will be a catastrophe like Chernobyl. We can use the energy of the wind water and the sun. Because nuclear power makes very much waste and the nuclear waste is hard to handle because its dangerous for the environment. The waste is nuclear radiation and so dangerous for every species on earth. But were take the nuclear waste? In the world are not so much places for the nuclear waste. So we must be careful with using nuclear power. We as teenager think not so much about that but when we hear what problems the nuclear power take with it its very bad. Of course the nuclear power brings more energy than naturally power but we must pay attention for our environment. Besides you can build with the help of nuclear power atomic bombs. And that’s dangerous for the hold world because terrorists can steel atomic stuff and build a atomic bomb. In the next few years the final depots will be full and no more space to deposit. So at the latest then we must change our energy from nuclear power to naturally power to supply the households. But natural power is not so powerful as nuclear power but so much healthier for every species on earth.

D – Classic Dance
A lot of young people dance in dance schools. The most dance schools offer a lot of different courses. You can visit courses like Hip Hop, Dancefloor, Video-Clip dance and Classic. I will write about Classic Dance. Classic dance is a kind of partner dance. My dance teacher says it is dancing with touching. My dance course are very small we are about 5 – 7 pairs. In the other student courses are many more pairs. They have often a few place to dance. I go dance every Sunday from half past three to sixteen o’ clock. We have a lot to laugh. The dance with our partner is funny. Everyone always dances with the same partner. We have learn the dances Disco Fox, Fox Trot, Rumba, Jive, Cha Cha Cha, Salsa, Tango, Walzer und slowly Walzer. In each dance hour we learn new figures to the dances. They are also championships where pairs begins each other. My cousin should begin with the north German championship in Disco Fox but she had an injury at her leg. I would dance at
a Championship, too. In dance schools you meet a lot of new friends. I meet my boyfriend first at our dance course :) . On this regard dance can make a lot of fun :))

D-Death Penalty
Three days ago Stanley ,,Tookie” William got his death penalty. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger demanded his death because Tookie had murdered four people. But Stanley-Tookie always said that he never had done it. In his prison time of 25 years Stanley wrote Books for children and protested against violence.
I think death penalty is one the one hand a good thing and on the other hand it is madness. Sometimes I feel that when someone kills another person it is good to give them a death penalty. I think when somebody commits a murder they must die too. The worst is when I read a article about murder of child and the murderer go to the prison for a few years. For these people I demand death too because an innocent child can't defend oneself. It is horrible when an adult person kills a child. In these moments I think the death penalty is a good thing. Sometimes when it is a hard crime I think that in German could be the Death penalty too. But don’t think that I find the Death penalty all times good. When I have read the article from Stanley Williams I was very sad. He doesn’t have well-deserved to die. In prison he has changed his life. And he has said that he can't lie to live, as Schwarzenegger wanted him to pretend he was the murderer. I think he never killed the four people. In my opinion death penalty is inhuman. And the kinds of the execution are inhuman too. The electrocution is inhuman because the people have much hurt. The execution with the injection is also bad because the person doesn’t can breathe and he suffocate. Some person never can show their innocence and they must die. All in all the Death penalty is a bad thing and I think the Death penalty and the execution should be abolished. If I lived in America or in other countries where the Death penalty is practised I would protest against them!!!!
Sandra Korthals (Garbsen, Germany)
In this text I tell you what I think about the death penalty. We live in the year 2005. In this age there are Countries which have the death penalty. It's not right to kill a murderer because then you do the same like he did. It's hard enough if the murderer sits the rest of his life in the death row because he sits 23 hours in his 2x2 meter death row and he is not allowed to have contact with other prisoners. 1 hour a day the prisoner can go out. If you are alone 23 hours a day you become more and more ill in the brain because humans need the contact to others. Besides for the guard who will kill him it’s a high pressure because he must kill a man which is maybe crying and screaming for his life. It's harder for the prisoner if he thinks his whole life about his crime because then he can realize what he has done.
If you sit 20 years in the death row it's for some prisoners like a release because then they don’t have to do every day the same things. So stop execute murderers and let them think the rest of their life about the crime. It's not human to buckle a murderer at a chair and kill
him.
D - Death or Dieing
Before I die...
Hold me close before I die,
Before I breathe that last dread sigh.
Before I lose sight of your face,
And removed from life is every trace,
That I loved you with all of my heart,
Before this evil forced us to part.
Before this darkness came to our lands,
And before I defied its persistent demands.
But you loved me, and I loved you,
It was a love so strong, and so true,
So please love, don't forget,
And whatever you do, don't regret.
Just hold me close, one last time,
And then punish the darkness for its terrible crime,
Every single evil deed,
Caused by its overwhelming greed,
To obtain my power.
Now, as you hold me in your arms in this dark tower,
Please, Please... tell me that you love me, just one more time.

E - Eastern in Germany
Every year Eastern is in the spring. But it is not at the same date in the year, but every year on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the beginning of spring-time. This year it was on 27th of March. The Friday before is Good Friday, the day when Jesus was crucified. As he was dead, many people put him in a cave. In front of the cave the people put a rock, so that nobody could open the cave. Three days later, on Easter Sunday Jesus resurrection. Jesus body was not there, because he went to God. Today the children get Easter-eggs. The children thought that in the morning a Easter-rabbit comes and put Easter-eggs in the garden. When the children stand up, they go with a basket in the garden and collect the Easter-eggs, sometimes they have little presents.

In the future I will have a Boyfriend with a lot of humour. Of course he is very cute. Besides he is a good person. He works as a soccer player in a German soccer team. When we are five years together we married in a little Island at Cook Island. Many flower children spread a lot of flowers on the beach. My parents, his parents, my brother and my sisters, his brother and sisters and my and his friends are on the Wedding. That will be a very beautiful wedding.
We live in a big house and we have a very big garden. Our first child will be a boy and we call him Alexander- Sebastian! When he is five I am pregnant and then my baby is a little girl. We call her Sarah-Charlotte-Cathleen. Alex was very happy and played sometimes with Sarah. When Sarah goes to the children garden I work as a lawyer again. Of course I work only till 12 O’clock, because I should cook the lunch. When my husband comes from the training he is a little bit shattered and then I console him. When he has put on other clothes we eat our lunch. My husband and I put the Glasses and the plate away from the table. Later my husband and I help our Children with the homework. After this Sarah and Alex can go to the outside and play with the other Children. My husband and I can then relax and look a little bit TV or we enjoyed the quietness. At 6 O’ clock I take my Children and then we eat the supper. At the latest at 8 O’ clock we take our Children to the bed and read aloud a little History. Very quickly Sarah and Alex fall asleep. Later we go to the bed, too.

My Future Family
I want to marry with 25 years because then I will have a job and my own apartment . My wife and me will have two children. A boy and a girl. Then I will work and my wife will pay attention for the children. If the children can go to the kindergarten my wife will work too. But only for a half of the day. At the weekend I will go with my family in the stadium of Hanover 96 and watch the game. If my wife wont see the game I will watch it with my children. Very important is the school education of my children. In the holidays we will travel to a warm country or to a country were we can have fun. After my children are ready with their school I will help them to find a job. At least with 20 my children must move to another house or apartment because they are old enough to live their own life. One time in every second month we will meet each other and go out like eating or something like that. If I m around 70 I hope children don’t forget me. If my wife die before I do I will give all my money to my children.
Lisa-Charleen (Garbsen, Germany)

My Family
In this text I will introduce my family and how I live. I think my family is an normal family, which you can see on TV. We live in a house in a village near Hanover. In my surrounding there are many farming but also a highway but it’s only one street. My parents work in a normal time in week and have enough time for the family. Of course sometimes they would like to have there a bit of peace. I have a brother he is 17 and do an education. My mother works the half day. My father works the whole day. I’m in school to 4.00 o’clock and when I come home my mother is came at home too. My father come at home at 18.00 o’clock.
I have a dog it is called Sammy and 5 years old. In my free time I do many sports. I play handball in a team and on street play basketball or play football. I have a motor scooter and work every weekend a bit on it and drive with it to friends.
My brother would like to help every time to work on the scooter. I have a very good relationship to my brother he is only two years older then me. Every summer holidays we drive together to an other country. When we would like to go in other holidays in the holiday we must pay it o ourselves because it’s to expensive. For that I work every Sunday morning because I will drive with a group in the Easter holidays in ski holiday. I’m like my family and I need it. That’s my family.
My future Family
Now I will introduce my future family. I think everyone has an other notion for his future family. My notion from my future family is that I will spend much time for my family when I will grow up but also in this time. I’m teenager and as teenager I need much time with my parents, my brother and the other members of the family. In the future I think all family’s will have a bad relation together because the parents will get more work and less holiday and then the family’s most break in the notion with children and parents because they have less time for do something together. For stop this in my family I would spend the free time with my children and my husband. I hope then I will get a good relation with my family and not so many problems.

F- Friends
The following text is about friends. Friends are important for our life. In difficult situations you can count on your friends. They can console you if you have a problem. You can arrange your freetime with them, like cinema, theater, Dvd evening, birthday and parties. Friends are always there for you and you can tell them secrets. But there might happen negative experiences with friends. Perhaps you tell them a secret and they told it to the others or you argue with them. After a negative experience you are very depressed. So you see, there might occur problems with a friendship.

Trust in Friendships
Friends are an essential part of adolescence because without them we would all be so stressed out that we would go crazy. High school can be hard, but friends make all the homework, stress, and mood swings easier to deal with. I have a lot of friends, but I never have enough time to hang out with them all because I’m a very busy person.
Since I’m a bit of a floater, a lot of my friends are from different social groups. For example, I have intellectual friends from my classes, musical and theatrical friends from chorus and plays, and athletic friends from tennis. I also have friends in different grades. Some of my close friends are in college, and some are sophomores in high school.
One of the hardest things about having friends in high school is that people tend to group themselves and define themselves by what activities or teams they are involved in, and they tend to stay within that group, so it’s hard for me to stay friends with them after the season is over, or after the play because I do so many different things. Because of this, I am constantly making new friends, and my friends are always changing. This makes it difficult to have parties because I have friends from different groups that don’t like to mix.
I am not very discriminatory when choosing friends. I think as long as someone is nice to me and fun to hang out with, then there is no reason why we shouldn’t be friends. I am also a very open and trusting person, so I tend to tell people a lot of things early on in friendships, and I end up with a lot of really close friends that way. I usually become close friends with girls that are a year or two younger than me, or with boys that are my age or older. I think that is because girls mature faster, so I can have a closer connection with them even if they are younger, and I find it easier to connect with younge r girls right now because girls my age are so competitive about college and school. The younger girls are supportive, and they look up to me instead of competing with me, and I love to be a role model for them and give them advice. My younger girl friends are less stressed too, so they can be more fun to be around, and they always make me laugh to brighten my day.
Boys tend to mature a little slower, so I make friends with boys that are my age or older because they are more at my intellectual level. Boys are fun to be friends with because they never worry about whether or not you say hi to them or what you’re wearing, and they just like you for who you are. Also, boys are a lot more laid-back and easier to approach and talk to than girls. I think I usually make friends with boys more often than girls, but I have a lot of girl friends too. I have more close guy friends than girl friends, but there are three girls that I have been very close with since middle school. I have a lot of best friends because I talk to my friends about different subjects, so I have lots of friends that I am close with on different levels.
I think a real friend is someone that I can always go to for support and for fun and someone that feels they can do the same with me. It is important to have trust in friendships, and I think that is the most important component of a close, mutual friendship. Because I’m so open and friendly, I have made a lot of foreign friends because I’m not afraid to approach them just because of culture differences. Several of my close friends come from different countries such as China, Poland, and India. I also have a few friends that live in different countries- friends that I made while I was in France this summer. I think it can be really fun to have foreign friends because I love to learn about their culture and share mine with them. I
enjoy sharing music, movies, ideas about school, parents, friends, religion, and politics . I like to learn about other countries and other people, so I surround myself with all different kinds of people. I love making new friends and learning new things, and I hope that I can connect with some of you through this project.

I - Internship
The last two weeks we had an internship in our school, we went to different workplaces and learned about them. Some of us thought it was too long, they were bored or they needed to do to much or hard work. We three liked the internship, because we had nice colleagues. Do you have an internship at your school? What have you done there?
Alina worked as a physiotherapeutic and is now the perfect masseur! Fredo worked in a district court an learned something about negotiations and the juristic jobs. Isa worked as a doctor in a village and learned nothing, but therefore she got money and cakes! And she got a trimming bike for her great working in social areas.
Happy3Friends (Jever, Germany)
We had an internship so we couldn’t write. But we see you didn’t write too. Jochen was in tax office and Kai was at the German Armed Forces. Do you have internships too? The reason you do this is to get an impression the life after school, you go to a site for 2 weeks and do things the people who are working there do. We absolve one in the 11th grade at High school.
At other schools they do it earlier, in the 9th or 10th grade. Jochen sorted files and worked on tax returns and Kai handled with Metal and built among others a little model airplane. Now we got a good impression of working life. We both think that it is better to work than to learn. It is very relaxing to come home after work, eat something and sit down in front of the TV instead of learning and make homework.
Team Jowekaboe (Jever, Germany)
For two weeks, from the 21.11.2005-2.12.2005, we made an internship. But not only a few people from our class, or the whole class, no, the whole age group did an internship. We looked at the different jobs and got an insight into the work-life. Some found the internship good and some found it not so good. It depends on the job in which they had the insight. E.g. some students were at the animal doctor. They were allowed to work with nice animals, they were allowed to do something by their self and there was something very interesting to look at. But there were some students e.g. at office-work or at the physiotherapist They said it was very boring, because there wasn’t anything interesting to do or to look at. The people who worked there had to do their work, because their work is important for other people. So the students had only to look or sometimes do little things by their own. But it was not very exiting. The hours the students had to work were different, too. Some students had to work 45 hours a week and some only 20 hours. We think all the students have learned much by this internship, because now they have a little idea, what the work-life is about. They know now how it is to work eight hours a day with a little brake and that it is different or even harder than sitting 6 lessons, with a brake between every lessons, in school and the sureness that they can go home at 1 o’ clock. Now , over the Christmas-holidays, the students have to write an internship-report about their internship. It has to be eight pages long in a, how we think, very small script. It includes themes how “Describe a special job, you have seen in your internship” or “describe the activity you had to do while your internship”. So, after the end of our internship, we have to absorb with it too. So we are sure it was a special experience, which we will never forget...

J - JOB
Now we are in year ten and that is very important because we have to do a good leaving certificate. After year ten we can do our German school-leaving examination and university entrance qualification or we have to work. That´ s mean that we have to write an application very early to business were we want to do our job training. And for that we have to decide which job we want to do. After this year I can and will do my German school-leaving examination and university entrance qualification but I will do my year eleven in Canada. And after class thirteen I can go to the university but I have to write applications in year thirteen because I want to do an job training as a businesswomen for forwarding and logistics. While I do this job training I will do an evening study. And after three years I will have a job training and a year later I will have my study. If I get a job I can work and earn money. We all have to work to earn money because we need it to live. At the beginning we all have to decide what we want to do and for what we have the abilities. And if you are get an answer to one or more of your many applications then you have to go to the employment test in this business. If this test was good and okay you will get an invitation to an interview. And if this was good too and they want you then you will get a letter and there you will have a confirmation for your job training. It is a very long way to here but if you work hard then you will manage it. GOOD LUCK TO ALL !!

L - Lifestyle:
Young people have different lifestyles. Some people like me love to make party and wear clothes with famous brands, like Puma, D&G and other. My favourite hobbies are playing football in my team, chill out with my friends and go shopping. It’s not only me who has such hobbies, there are much more young people like me. But there are also many young people, who doesn’t do such things like I do and other do. Maybe they have no time for this or their parents don’t allow them to do that, but I think they have other hobbies. I only have friends with same hobbies like me but my opinion is that it’s not bad to have friends with other hobbies too. I also think that every person is different.

L – Love
Love. The young love is very precious, hurtful and very beautiful. Young people are very emotional in love. I am in love. Love is for me the most important feeling in my life. Love is strain. But if you know how to love a person than it can be very nice. Most of the connections of boys and girls are found on friendships. Then they do something together, they fall in love and then they MAKE love (very hot). I met my love in the school. We phoned a lot of times. Then we got our first kiss, I met her parents, her friends and then… You know how we do!!!
But love is not just nice and easy. Love means to do something that you never did before, to look in her eyes and know how she feel or think. Love means stress, dispute and trouble. Love means to change you life for your partner, to sacrifice something. Love is everybody, in all of us. When you do sports, then you love this sport. When you visit a football team every weekend, then you love this team. When you listen to a lovely song, then you love this song. When you are happy, then you love the world.
So… go out and find your love!!!
A poem of love:
A girl asks a boy:
Am I nice?
The boy says:
no!
The girl asks him again:
Do you like me?
He says:
No!
She asks him:
why?
The boy says:
You are not nice, you are the most beautiful girl that I ever seen.
I don’t like you, I love you more then life

P – Pain
Perhaps...
Please don't cry,
Don't look like that,
As if you want to give up,
And nothing I do can help.
I want to stop the pain,
But though I've tried,
Nothing seems to help,
And your pained look continues.
I would hold you,
I would whisper that it will be fine
If only I knew what it was,
That haunts you in the night,
And makes you cry that way.
O my soul,
Tell me why you pain me,
Why, when I look in the mirror,
I see only your sadness.
I cannot heal my own wounds,
And so if you tell me yours,
I at least can try to help you.
Every night,
I feel new tears,
Welling behind my eyes.
They don't seem to be mine,
Even though I feel the same pain.
Tell me your sorrow,
And I will tell you mine.
Perhaps,
Perhaps one day,
We can heal each other's wounds,
And stop the tears from falling.
Somehow though,
I know you hurt
For the same reasons I do,
And that it's my pain that wounds you.
If this is the case,
Then there's nothing to be done,
But to endure,
And to wait for one
Who might help us both.

s – Boys and shopping
In this part of the “Dictionary of young live” I will write about shopping in Hanover. I believe most of you think that girls go into the city and go shopping and for boys it’s the same, it couldn’t care less. But at Hanover its another thing. I like to go to the city for shopping. I mainly go to clothing shops and look for new fashion for my wardrobe.
When we will go in the city we go by underground. We mostly go on at 10.00 o’clock in the morning and we drive 27 minutes with the underground train. When we in Hanover we get off at the Steintor. It’s a very famous place for the night live. When you know what I mean.=) At first we go to Clockhouse its one of the biggest shops in Hanover. Then mostly to New Yorker, H&M, Planet, Footlocker or Blade Runner. Footlocker and Blade Runner are shops for shoes. New Yorker, H&M and Planet are clothing shops like C&A but Planet is more for basketball style and is new since the last year. At Planet you can buy baggie’s, basketball shirts and everything about basketball clothes but it is not sport clothing. At C&A, H&M and New Yorker you can buy the normal clothes like wear here almost everyone. They have really cool clothes and i buy there mostly my clothes but also at Planet. Here in Germany it is almost no different between girls and boys at shopping, expect that the girl are mostly longer in the city.

S-School (Bad things)
For young people school is almost boring because the lessons are monotonous and the teachers make bad tasks! Most one time at week we write 2-3 tests. The famous lessons are music, sport, art-lesson, KG( It is a lesson were the class can talk about problems or other things) and A/Ü( It is a lesson were you can do your homework)! The silliest lessons are mathematic, natural sciences(It is a lesson were you can learn something about us, our body and some more themes) and German. At the Christmas time the most of our schoolmate are ill. That’s a big risk for all because in the school you give the bacteria to your schoolmates!

S –School (positive)
The positive about school is that you see your friends everyday, you can blether and make funny things. In the lessons you sit near your friends and if you doesn´ t understand something they can help you. You can spend your lunch-break with them and go to the shopping centre. The lessons in our school, in my class is very good it´ s stict but always funny. We learn a lot because e.g. in natural sciences we can do the experiment by our own and must not look how our teacher do they by own. Sport is very good. In year nine and ten we can choose our sport subjects e.g. Hockey, volleyball, soccer for girls, handball or something other. Then we are in this select groups. We learn something about the sport and do it, but we must do running around the lake “ Berenbosteler See” and make something other which is important for fitness. And we have the lesson “AÜ”. There we can do our homework and prepare projects which we present later. Most we have our class teachers in this lessons. Also we have the subject “Kerngruppenstunde”, there we talk over the problems in class or about problems with other teacher or students. It´s good because of this we haven’t so many problems. This was the positive of our school!

Life after school
What can I do when I finish with school?? I can start with a professional life after year ten!!! To start this I must send first an application to the company I like. In a application must be included a curriculum vitae of life and very important your last report. But don’t send only one application but several, because it’s not sure that the company take you on. When you get an answer from the company you must do first a training for approx. two years for learn the job and perhaps to meet new persons and friends. After the training you can say for yourself if you will continue this job or if you do another training. Also you can do first an examination to get an better chance. After the examination you can write a application to a company like after year ten or you can go learning in the university, but here you need a good sometimes a very good report.

W - Winter Depression
The weather can change the mood of the people living on the world. For example if you are happy if the sun shines on you and your ice-cream on the beach you are more happy than if it rains and everything is grey and the birds aren’t singing no more. There are depressions, called here in Germany “Winter-Depression”. Their dark environment depresses the people and they push each other more and more into their bad mood. A help to change your mood is to turn on the light. You must have a lot of lights in your house then changes your mood again. If nothing helps you must go to a psychiatrist. In the winter suicide rate
is higher as in the summer.
