Music & Parties

First we want to talk about your free time and nightlife:
What do you like more - Clubs or home parties?
Are you allowed to drink alcohol?

What kind of music do you listen to?

Do you have some favourite bands / artists?

Danke!

Hi guys,
so you like drinking alcohol? And are you allowed to do this? Do you drink much and how often? In former times as we had our first contact with alcohol it was at the age of 15 years. This was a new experience and we couldn't get enough of this. So we drank 6 times a week.
Because we were young we found it cool to be drunk. We couldn't see a disadvantage in this so we drank. That's why we came into your grade. As we recognised what kind of bad consequences this had it already was too late. Since that time we left alcohol behind us.
In our opinion everyone should make his own experiences but everyone should know when the time has come to stop drinking. Now we drink nearly nothing anymore, just on birthdays or New Year’s Eve and one or two beers in the disco.
I think you can imagine that we are allowed to drink because we are of age. But believe us, we drank much more when we weren't allowed to. But now we try to live healthy and we have other things to do instead of drinking alcohol.
Back to your question of parties. We like clubs and home parties as well. There is just the question what sort of people there are because you only can really have fun when you feel good in that group of people.
What is your opinion about alcohol and parties?

Hey you

I want to write something to your topic "Music and parties"

I like clubs more than home parties, because home parties are often very boring. It depends on the people who organize the party. I like to meet new people and it's easy to make contacts in a club. I like to dance and that's the main point why I like clubs more than home parties. I like different kinds of music but to dance I like Oldies and Rock music. At home I listen to Hiphop and Rock most of the time. I think oldies are good to make a nice party because everybody knows the music and dances to it when he's drunk. My favourite bands are: Tracy Chapman, Wir sind Helden, Clueso, Curse, Blumentopf and so on. I've got one favourite actor: MATTHIAS SCHWEIGHÖFER          -------> The sexiest man alive

What are your answers to your questions? What do you like more? Home parties or Clubs? I'm sure that you prefer the home parties isn't it?

I would like you to write to our topic

nice wishes from Verena, 11b, Jever

Hello Henrik, Oläf and Marten!!!!

I'm a little bit bored at this moment so I picked your topic and now I'm writing to you because the other topics are pretty boring.

Okay, let's talk about music, parties and my nightlife. At first I can say that I prefer more home parties because the last time I was too often in a club called Nachtschicht and it's nearly every time the same so that you don't want to go there for a long time ( about 2 or 3 months)

Home parties are even better because there are people who you like but not every time. Sometimes there are little stupid boys. Think of a discothec! There are many people with who you don't want to have a party or do dance and so on. Some people get on your nerves or their dumbness is very bad.

And on home parties you can listen to the music you want to and which you like.

As you know I'm allowed to drink alcohol but I'm sure that I don't have to tell you something about the rights in Germany. To be honest I drank alcohol at the age of 14 but my parents didn't say anything against it. I'm not an alcohol-freak. Sometimes it's even more fun to watch other people get drunk :) .

My favourite music number one is Rock. My favourite bands are Korn, Sentenced, The Thrills, Muse, A perfect circle, Paradise Lost, Die Happy, Rammstein, Sportfreunde Stiller, Soulfly, Ill nino and so on and so on.

All right that's enough. Maybe you'll write back and tell me something about your experiences with alcohol, parties and music?

Perhaps you were already on a music festival or a concert and you want to talk about it?

Cheerio and lots of love.

Yours, Inguer, 11b, Jever
