WHAT’S IMPORTANT IN A RELATIONSHIP?

We think it’s important for a relationship to respect the other person. We also say that not only the character is important but also appearance, all in all has to fit in. You have to be faithful and honest if you want to have a nice relationship.
Before you marry you should take all you can in your life. But sometimes it’s nice to cheat on your boyfriend/ girlfriend. Surely you’ll think that we’re little bitches but that isn’t right. We want to have our fun like boys too. Think what you want we’re satisfied with it. The questions to you are:

- What do you think is important to have a good relationship?

- Is it good to have a free life or is it better to have a boyfriend or girlfriend?

- Do your parents have a problem with a boyfriend/ girlfriend who is a foreigner?

- Would you forgive your boyfriend/ girlfriend when he/ she cheats on you?

I really like your topic ‘What’s important in a relationship?’ because on the one hand this topic contains many different aspects to discuss and on the other hand it is an important issue to talk about especially for us being nearly adults.

You two are absolutely right in saying that the outward appearance is a very important aspect in a relationship. I definitely agree with you but I think the outward appearance just counts at the first moment when you meet a boy or a girl. The boy or girl you meet for the first time is first definitely struck by your outward appearance and not by your traits of character because unfortunately you are not able to see them at the first moment.

So, as I mentioned before, you are absolutely right in saying that everything has to fit in and the appearance of the girl or boy you meet is an important aspect in your relationship.

But in my opinion the real foundation of a strong, great and above all long-lasting relationship are definitely honesty, trust and respect and not the outward appearance.

One of the most important aspects in a relationship is in my view honesty. I think you have to be honest in every single minute in order not to endanger your relationship with the girl or boy you love. Moreover, you have to be sure that the person you like will not try to harm or deceive you. That’s why I think that another very important aspect in a relationship is trust because it is in my eyes the basis of a strong, great and long-lasting relationship. That’s why I think that cheating on your partner is in no way forgivable or acceptable.

Another important aspect in a partnership is, as you two said before, to respect the girl or boy you have fallen in love with. I think that equality in a relationship is also an important issue to talk about. In my opinion, every person, especially women, should have the right of being treated the same as other people, without differences such as sex being considered. Unfortunately, there are still many countries in which equality between men and women is not practiced yet which is hopefully about to change in the future. Therefore, I think in a relationship it is very important to respect and even accept your partner as equal in value. You see, in my opinion the traits of character of the person you love or like are far more important than the outward appearance.

When you manage to follow these aspects of a great relationship, a marriage can possibly be the logical result no matter if it is the first boy or girl you are in a relationship with or if it is your twenty-third partner. In my opinion a marriage is a result of love and it is not important how many partners you have had before because in a relationship full of love, respect, trust and honesty it is not important if you have already made your experiences in love and sexuality.

Hey you two!
I think like you that the most important thing in a relationship is to be faithful, honest and respectful, because without these factors, a relationship is not able to exist.

I don’t think that you are bitches when you say that sometimes it’s nice to cheat on your boyfriend. But I couldn’t cheat on somebody who I love. Actually I couldn’t imagine that I would do that. Perhaps if my boyfriend cheats on me….Here I can answer one of your other questions: I think I wouldn’t forgive my boyfriend, if he cheated on me… but on the other hand it could be possible that I would forgive him…Ok, this sentence is senseless, doesn’t matter I hope! Actually I don’t know if I would forgive my boyfriend, because I have never been in that situation yet and I hope I never will. But one thing is sure, I would hurt me very much and it would cost him a very good art of persuasion to make me forgive him. The problem is that I think if somebody cheats on me, he doesn’t love me and love is a very important thing in a relationship. In my opinion it’s not a real relationship, if you don’t love your boyfriend. That would be some kind of an affair or a fun-relationship. But I don’t want to have that kind of relationship, I think it’s some kind of senseless…ok, perhaps funny…. Perhaps mine is an old-fashioned attitude…

It’s a really good question, if it’s better to have a friend or not, but I think you cannot really find an answer. It differs from person to person. Some people feel restricted in relationships and others feel well in relationships.

I have never had a foreigner as a boyfriend, but I couldn’t imagine that my parents would have a problem with that…and if they had, it wouldn’t matter, because it’s my relationship and my boyfriend. I think my parents have to respect my boyfriend, if he’s a foreigner or not. It’s not important if he is from Germany or not, because other things are a lot of more important!

I’d define relationship as something similar to friendship, but a lot more “intimate” in many different ways.

You might not be able to talk about everything with your partner, but I think a partner can give you other things a human being needs like love and affection for example.

Personally, I don’t plan to get married, have babies and “living happily-ever-after”.

I don’t think marrying someone is necessary. If the one I loved would need to marry me to stay with me for the rest of our lives (which I don’t think is possible) then I don’t think that person will truly love me.

And as I mentioned before, I don’t believe in ever lasting love. Someday, love just won’t be there anymore because persons simply change.

Concerning having babies… Well, I hate children. I can’t stand them because they annoy me like hell.

Besides, I plan to study after school at university and I want to get a good job and “make a career”.

Children don’t fit into that plan.

I must sound very cold, don’t I? But well, that’s my personal attitude.

How are you??

I want to write something to your interesting topic “What’s important in relationship”? First, I don’t think you are little “bitches”, because everybody has fun like boys and girls. When you know it’s only a one night stand then nobody can say anything. But I thing to cheat my girl- boyfriend is very unfair!! But you are right, we don’t call boys “bitches”, when they cheat on their girlfriends and that’s unfair, too. In my opinion it’s very difficult to have a good relationship, because everybody has his own opinion and experience. When you don’t have the same opinion, it could be difficult to understand the other person who you love. In my relationship it’s important to me that my boyfriend is interested in me and my life, that he tries to understand me and that we can have a lot of fun together. Of course, he should love me and he mustn’t cheat on me!!!

Free life or a boyfriend??

In my opinion both sides have pros and cons! When you have a “free-life” you can do what you want, you can kiss who you want and you could be inconsiderate.

But I’m happy to have a great relationship, because my boyfriend tries to help me when I’ve got problems, he’s patient with me, because I’m very vivacious. To my life it’s great that I know different problems and nice experience in relationships, maybe they’re sometimes bad, but that’s life!!!!

Now I want to define a perfect relationship for me. A relationship is important to people in world , as everybody has relationships. It isn’t important when you have a great relationship with your dog or a foreign person. All people need in their lives love and company with people. To my life it´ s important too to get love and persons who need me. Sometimes it´ s very difficult to speak about special problems, because everybody has different opinions and experience from other relationships.
