Hi my
friends:
We are Mehrnaz and Leila from Iran. We read your good topic and questions. We
like your topic and decided to answer and tell you our opinions.
We think many people need our help. We like to help them. We have heard a lot
about it. In Iran many people with university degrees donate their organ after
their death. We know one of them. There aren’t Islamic reasons against
donating organs. “Every person who donate life to one person donate life to
all people.“(Maede -32) Its part of Oran. Oran is our holy book. In Iran there
is a bank for donating organs. This bank help people who need donating organs.
In Bam (one of cities in Iran) a family that lost their daughter in earth quake
by brain death donated her heart to a man who was the father of a small girl.
Their daughter dead but her heart palpitates for ever.

Hey Mehrnaz and Leila!
At first
we want to thank you for your mail! Its very nice to learn how people in your
country think about organ donation.
We have
to say that we dont know very much about the Islam or Qran. But its great that
you told us a part of the Qran which fits to our topic! We dont think that in
the Bible (our holy book) is some kind of sentence, but we are not really into
it. In Germany, there also exists a bank for donating organs. Were not sure, but
we think that there is some kind of international bank for organ transplantation.
We think that its very important to donate organs because you can help other
people or even save their lives by acting this way. Woul! do you yourself donate
organs? And if, only after death or even while you are alive? We’ll be glad if
you write back!
Caro,
Kyra and Silke from Germany!
Hi
Caro,Kyra and Silke
Thanks for answering us .We like to help people need our help. We know many
people who need donating organs in hospitals but they hope we help them. After
our death we aren’t in this world but we can live in other body and by this
donate life to other.
What about you? What is your opinion about donating your organs? Would you only
donate your organs after your death? We’ll be happy if you answer us.

Ja moin
I want
to talk about organ donation. In my opinion everyone should donate his organs
when he or she is dead. When you are dead you will not need them anymore and so
you can donate them and help another person with them. In my family everyone has
this paper which says that you want to donate your organs. My aunt got a kidney
three years ago and she is very happy about this and the whole family is happy,
too. And because of this everyone in our family takes this little paper with him.
Maybe
there are some religion reasons that you do not donate your organs. But in my
opinion religion isn’t important when you can help another person on the world.
The only reason which I want to accept is the reason that they think that they
will have a second life and that the organs they donate they will not have in
their next life. But this is not a real reason for the people not to donate.
I would
donate some of my organs when I am still alive, too. But then there must be a
little child who has to get my organ. Then I will donate an organ.
And
today the politicians are discussing about this topic, too.
They
want to provide a law which says that everyone who hasn’t got this little
paper will not get any organ in his life. And I think that is the right way.
When you do not want to donate something someone else should not donate for you.
So that
is my opinion about your topic.
Bye

Hello
Soenke!
Thank
you very much for your response!
We agree
with you in most of the points you’ve mentioned in your e-mail. In our opinion
it’s necessary to donate your organs no matter if you’re still alive or if
you’re already dead.
It’s a
tougher decision when you’re still alive, though, so we think it’s okay if
you’d only donate your organs after your death. I (Kyra) would only donate my
organs to my closest friends or members of my family during my life.
In my
opinion (Caro), there are still not enough people who donate their organs
although they expect others to do so in case they suffer from a disease like
cancer. Therefore, I would donate my organs even when I’m still alive and even
if I don’t know the person who receives my organs.
In my
view, donating organs is simply an easy way of saving other people from death
which is in my opinion far more important than sticking to ethical doubts.
Some
time ago, we heard someone say something like “I’d rather burn myself than
being forced to donate my organs after my death!” To be quite frank, saying
such a thing is simply stupid.
Because
of those persons the law which says that only people who donate organs will
receive organs should be passed. Besides, people should get better informed
about the whole process of donating organs.
Well,
that is our opinion. Bye, Caro, Silke and Kyra, 11b, Jever
